Information we collect
- Your name, email address, telephone number and the classes you are interested in.
- For children’s enquiries, the child’s name, age and school year, supplied by their parent or carer.
- Information you choose to share when corresponding with us.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request logs and checks to prevent spam or misuse.
Children’s enquiries should be made by a parent or carer. We ask for contact details so we can reply, and children’s details so we can help identify suitable classes. If you prefer not to use the form, please contact Nicola directly.
How and why we use your information
We use your information to acknowledge and respond to your enquiry, discuss suitable classes and availability, and arrange visits or trials. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the school. Where your enquiry involves steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, we may also rely on that basis.
We use technical information for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and preventing spam. Where we must retain or disclose information to meet a legal requirement, we rely on that legal obligation.
Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing emails. We do not use enquiry information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who can access your information
Nicola and authorised people assisting the school may access your information where needed to deal with your enquiry. We use service providers to host and secure the website and deliver and receive email. These include OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, Resend for enquiry and acknowledgement emails, and Microsoft 365 for our email inbox.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect someone’s safety or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Processing outside the UK
Some of our service providers process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Resend stores email content and delivery information in the United States and describes its transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum, in its GDPR information.
Our hosting and inbox providers also describe international processing and safeguards in their privacy information: OpenAI and Microsoft. Please contact Nicola if you would like further information about transfers or the safeguards applicable to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is needed to respond and manage any resulting arrangements. This depends on whether the enquiry is ongoing, whether you join the school, and whether records are needed to meet legal obligations or deal with a complaint or claim. We review information and delete it when it is no longer needed. Service providers may retain delivery, security and backup records for their own documented retention periods.
If you enrol, we will explain any additional information needed to manage pupil records and classes. We limit access to personal information to people who need it and use appropriate measures to protect it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your information, correct inaccurate details, have information deleted, restrict its use, or receive certain information in a portable format. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to conditions and may not apply in every case.

Optional analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, engagement, clicks to our enquiry page and successfully sent enquiries. Google Analytics receives technical information about your browser and device and uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_YPDQD8D2T1 to recognise visits. Our analytics cookies expire after 180 days. We do not load Google Analytics until you accept analytics cookies.
Our enquiry tracking sends an event confirming that an enquiry was sent; it does not send the names, ages, school years, email addresses, telephone numbers or other details entered in the form. We strip query strings and fragments from the page address and referrer supplied in our Analytics configuration. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration.
We rely on your consent for this optional analytics use. You can decline without affecting the website or enquiry form. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, we disable further Analytics collection and remove its cookies from this site; this does not delete information already collected. Your preference is stored in this browser for 180 days, after which we ask again.
