We encourage children to come into class independently, but we understand that starting something new can feel daunting. If your child needs a little support, you’re welcome to come into the studio to help them settle. Once they feel comfortable, we encourage you to wait in reception while they enjoy their class. We also hold regular watching weeks, when parents are invited into the studio to see their child’s progress.

A few first-class nerves are completely understandable. Our friendly, nurturing teachers have many years of experience working with children with different personalities and needs. We take time to get to know your child and adapt our approach to help them feel comfortable, included and supported. Let us know about any worries before their first visit so we can work together to make their introduction a positive one.

All our teachers hold professional qualifications, are DBS checked and undertake regular first aid and safeguarding training. Alongside their teaching experience, they bring a caring, supportive approach to helping every dancer learn and grow.

Absolutely! We hold a school show at a local theatre every two years, and all children are encouraged to take part. There are also performance opportunities throughout the year, giving dancers the chance to share what they’ve learned and enjoy being part of something together.
